Ones when I was going to my school which is at a distance of two miles from our town, we found Ourselves caught in a dust storm. Some people started screening "Duststorm" even before it hit us. I felt that Somthing extraordinary was about to happen. The nextminute it actually took place. I found something wrong with the sky. It looked dark and murky.

Soon, dark clouds began to close in on us. Suddenly there- was a lot of confusion all around the roads and on the streets. I started driving my bike at full speed but the dust laden wind would not allow me to do so. The wind was blowing from the front. I got down and drafgged my bike.

I found shelter under a tree but the fear of the tree being uprooted began to haunt me. The tree swung and Dreaked dangerously but it did not fall. I felt small particles of dust entering my eyes and ears.

I caused a great deal of irritation to my eyes but I couldnot do anything to clean my eyes. Suddenly I heard a

Sound in the distance. I looked up and saw that the sky was clearing out now.

A portion of a thatched roof had also blown to one side of the road. There was a loud thud and a tree came down to the ground. I had to reach school and I was getting late.

The gale was piercing and cold. The sky was overcast with clouds though a part of it had cleared up. Soon there was a downpour and the rain water began to fillup all the drains and the roads were wet with rain water. I ran with my bike.

I had to reach my school in some way or the other, Icould not drive my bike as I was scared to cause, an accident I took shelter in a verandah and again I stood there alone for a long time.

As soon as the rain's fury abated I began to ride my bike again and reached my school. I was drenched but  I was thankful that I had finally reached my destination in one piece.
