Shari Atal Behari Vajpayee was born on 25^thDecember, 1924 at Shinde Cantt, in Madhya Pradesh. His father's name was Shri Krishna Behari Vajpayee and his mother's name was Krishna Devi. His father was a teacher and his mother was a pious house wife.

Shari Vajpayee was a member of R.S.S. in his school days. He passed his B.A. from Victoria College, Gwalior. There he learnt the art of politics. He was the leader of the student's union of his college.

He started his political career and stood twice as the Head of the Indian Government. He belongs to Bhartiya Janata Party. Ex-Prime Ministers of India Sh. Chander Shekhar and Sh.Narsimha Rao take him as his Guruji.

Atal Behari is a lover of Hindi language. He has a versatile personality. He is a writer, a journalist and a poet by heart. He has been a Parliamentarian for the past 45 years. He was the first person from India who spoke in Hindi at the U.N.O." in October, 1977.

Atal Behari was awarded Padma Vibhushan in1992. He was also conferred upon 'Govind Ballabh Pant Award' in 1994.

Shri Vajpayee has remained the Prime Minister of India twice. His government was supported by many other parties. He is a great Hindu, a great scholar and a great patriot. He is a giant among politicians. Even his political rivals hold him in high esteem.

He is called the right man in the wrong party. He is a great orator. He is famous for the selection of the worlds, the style of speaking and the touch of humor.  

He judges the human psychology very well. Though he is a devoted Hindu get he respects all religions. He belongs to all and all belong to him. He commands the respect and love of all sections of Indian society. He was adjudged the best Parliamentarian. India had conducted nuclear tests under his premiership.

Shari Atal Behari Vajpayee was the centre of faith of Indian public. He believes in perfection of action. He was the founder member of the' Jansangh'.

He has no equal as a patriot and nationalist. He is a non-controversial figure in the Indian politics. He loves India and Indian people. He of devoted socialist. he sole aim is to make India strong and self-confident in every sphere of development and defense.
